Welcome to impact made real!
Twenty43 Ventures is an interdisciplinary impact investment opportunity that injects funds into the creative ecology in service to Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC).
From TV, Theatre, Film and more, we're building a landscape of change that empowers marginalized artists to generate wealth from their Intellectual Property.
This is about creating new centers from the perceived margins. This is about making a difference on stages, screens and radio waves.
WHAT IS TWENTY43?
We are an ecosystem by and for BIPOC Storytellers.
We collaborate to identify, fund, cultivate, and monetize media projects. Our process is designed to amplify the storyteller's vision, interrupt systems that do not serve us, and deliver a measurable positive social impact alongside financial returns.
As the prolific science fiction writer, Octavia Butler reminds us:
“There is nothing new under the sun, but there are new suns.”
Twenty43 is one member in a burgeoning constellation of organizations demonstrating that there are healthier, more sustainable, and more generative ways to make and share stories at a commercial scale.

We are a maroon community experiment in co-designing an ecosystem of care and connection committed to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Disabled, Female, gender non-conforming, Muslim, Immigrant, and other intersectionally marginalized storytellers across the United States.
In the Summer of 2021…
A small cohort of leaders began to discuss the shared barriers for marginalized voices in commercial storytelling.

While some barriers were unique to the sector of storytelling, the impact was consistent across them all.
BIPOC storytellers largely do not get to benefit from the long term ownership and creative control in the making and sharing of their stories!
