F Javier Torres-Campos is an antiracist philanthropic leader committed to liberated and self-determined futures for all people. His work centers on caring for humans and community while investing in imagination, narrative change, and power building. Torres-Campos recently served as interim president & CEO. athe National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) Prior to joining NALAC, he served as the director of Thriving Cultures at Surdna Foundation and is a founding design team member of both the BIPOC Storytelling Fund and the Constellations Narrative and Culture Fund. He also previously served as a funding and evaluation partner for the Mosaic Network and Fund at the New York Community Trust and advisory board member for the Design Studio for Social Intervention. He has also served as the director of national grantmaking at ArtPlace America, a ten-year partnership of more than thirteen foundations committed to integrating arts and culture as a core sector for all community development across the United States. Through this partnership, he helped distribute more than $60M to cultural leaders using their skills to strengthen their communities.
